Field stops and route checks
Close a stop when the action happened, not when a pin appeared on a map.
Field ops still close stops on a self-reported ping. A coordinate is not proof that the stop and the action occurred.
From the door to a result you can use
Step 1
Define the stop
A site, a window, and what “done” means for that checkpoint.
Step 2
Confirm on site
The field person completes the local challenge at the stop.
Step 3
Record the result
Ops see which stops passed. Counterparties can be shown the same fact.
Step 4
Close the route
A completed checkpoint, or a chain of them, is what you settle against.
Each stop can be closed on a confirmed action, not on a map ping.
Stop-level, not a track dump
Each checkpoint can stand on its own. You do not need to store the whole trajectory to prove the stop.
A ping is not completion
The useful question is whether the action at that stop was confirmed — not whether a device reported a coordinate.
Counterparties can check the same result
The proof is not a private note in the field app. Another team can verify it without a new export.
What the business gets
Ops and counterparties get a verified result per checkpoint. You can audit completion without keeping a continuous tracking dump.
